Therapy Services

I have experience in both short-term brief therapy as well as more in-depth therapy to address behavior patterns and family of origin issues which may cause clients to feel “stuck” or hopeless when trying to change.  Modalities include solution-focused or problem solving techniques, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT),  insight oriented and psychodynamic models.

As part of my training for couples work,  I have completed Level I and II of the John Gottman Institute’s Gottman Method Couples Therapy.  I also have extensive experience with stepfamily issues, eating disorders and substance abuse treatment and recovery.
